Lucky me! I received this honor from Honeysuckle Faire. She writes a blog about her life with a few retired thoroughbred racehorses (I love it when we get to know the horses as much as the owners), with themes on retraining, confidence and bitless bridles. Thank you HF.

It happens that I am in a crummy mood today and need “attitude of gratitude” adjustment. So instead of writing things about myself, here are 7 things I am grateful for:

My husband–my hero
My children–defenders of my faith in Things Alright With The World
Odie–smart & sweet Arabian gelding, my sunshine
A warm house–especially with the winter storms this year
Good health
Yoga–and the effect it is having on my riding
Tie between new media and fudge-covered chocolate mint cookies

Thanks so much for the award! I have recently fulfilled the requirements, so I think I’ll wait a while and pass it on to some newly discovered blog in the future. We are a small world aren’t we?!

I forget to say when I gave you this award that I love the title of your blog! My own husband never said “horseypants”, but it is SO like him to have a witty quip about my horsey love. I felt that I would like your blog immediately because of the title…and I do!
